HK Day 1

We booked the earliest flight and landed in HK at around 11.30 a.m.  We bought Octupus card right at the arrival hall. It was much more convenient as compared to my last visit 10 years' ago! We decided to check into Disneyland right after we landed cos it was the main purpose of the trip. However, we were much too tired due to lack of sleep the nite before (too excited!!!) and me, due to the medication I took for the flight (Yes, thou it's only 3 hrs +, I still feel more at ease with medication), so we didnt enjoyed as much in Disneyland for the first day. Luckily I bought 2 day pass.
From airport to Disneyland, we took the airport express, then change to MTR at Tsing Yi, then to Disneyland's own train. The gals were like 'Awwww so cute'. Upon reaching Disneyland, we took the hotel shuttle to Disney Hollywood Hotel. We felt that HK Disneyland Hotel seems more grand and elegant. We checked in without any trouble and had a late lunch at one of the cafe in the hotel. After checking in, the adults took a short nap while the gals entertain themselves with TV watching.
I planned for a short walk, only a visit to Tomorrowland, where you will see futuristic characters like Buzz Light Year. We managed to ride in the Autopia and took some pictures. Dinner was at Plaza Inn, by Maxim, one of the famous HK Chinese restaurant. Then by 7.30 pm, we got ourselves a spot and waited in anticipation for the fireworks. CL has seen it and he said it should never be missed. He was right! It was around 10 minutes and with the music and with Sleeping Beauty's castle as it's back drop, it was awesome.
We ended our first day right after the fireworks, to fully charge our battery and be ready for Disneyland again tomorrow.

Her first meal onboard. Busy watching cartoon and eating. She couldn't see the screen at her eye level. So I placed 2 pillows and a blanket for her to sit on.

The part of the shop which you see many little girls. YE wanted me to buy the princess dress for her but I didn't. She will very soon outgrow it and I don't think she has many opportunity to wear it.

In the hotel lift, Mickey Mouse announces when the lift reaches the level. Very cute!
