Special seat in a toilet

Been wanting to post this but i forgot. Since i'm on child care leave today so i have some time to update the blog.
This is in the Raffles City Baby's Room. So far the best toilet for families. This seat is just infront of the toilet bowl so the parent can visit the toilet and the bb can be secured in it and not run around touching the toilet or wanting to be carried. Very innovative.

Who Wants to be a fireman?

Sometime ago on a Sunday, we went downstairs for breakfast and i remembered that there is an exhibition organised by the RC. So we pop by and looked at some exhibits from SCDF. The gals were happy cos they got a toy helment from the SCDF guys.

Watch it Grow

Xiao ci was doing the topic 'Seed' in school sometime ago and she kept wanting to grow a plant. So we got some seeds (watermelon) and soil and try it at home. So far the plant is growing well but dun think we can harvest watermelon for dessert. Cos there are no green fingers ppl at home. hahaha... Anyway it's always the process that is impt and fun :)

Xiao Ci Chinese Class Presentation

Every last lesson of the term at Tien Hsia Language School, the children would present the poems and songs they leanrt during their lessons. It was to encourage children to be more comfortable infront of an audience and to get parents to show support in their children's learning. BB Yun Er and I attended Xiao Ci's first presentation.
When the presentation was over, the children went back to their classrooms and its time for BB Yun Er to do her own presentation. haha...

Wait!

By now BB Yun Er can utter some words. I think it's because she hears her jie jie speaking so she picks them up.
On Sunday, while we were in a shop at AMK hub. I told her that we will need to go when she puts the object back, she replied 'Wait'
I was like 'OMG! A 20+ month BB could say that to me??? I repeat again and she said the same thing. My husband and I were both amused and shocked to hear this. This tells us that we must mind our language infront of the kids.
