BB Yun 1st Church Wedding

We attended Papa's fren church wedding today. We take it as a 'rehearsal' for the 2 gals for us before my sis's turn next Jan. I also want to see if the 2 gals can tahan the 1 or 2 hours in church. It was ok except that BB Yun kept wanting to walk up and down the stairs. I brought along my 'kept-the-child-entertain' kit which consist of a small sketch book, pencils, colour pencils and stickers. I dun remember where i get the idea from but it started when XC was ard 2 yrs old plus I wouldnt want my kids to run ard shouting and screaming. So whenever we have to wait at a restaurant for food or to any places where we have to stay put and wait, I would take it out and let her doodle. Maybe thats why she has a keen interest in art. :)
For BB Yun, she is not very keen on drawing but enjoys taking out the stickers and sticking them everywhere.
XC was curious abt what was happening on stage and was focused (except complain a little abt being cold). At least she can sit still. BB Yun was a little loud. At times I have to shhh her and she replied 'I dun want be quiet, I dun want to talk softly'. Luckily we sat at a corner so only a few gals nearby heard her.

After the ceremony ended, we quickly went down to the reception before BB Yun runs up and down the stairs again. The thoughtful couple had a kids corner with colouring materials and printed pictures of them. They did some colouring while we quickly got them food. Overall, it was quite a ok experience except that it past BB Yun's nap time and she didnt want to nap when we were back home. :(

Another 2 new friends

Remember Soccer and Thomas the 2 hermit crabs who stay for the weekend some time ago? This time round is another 2 crawlies. Caterpillars!
I got someone to help buy these 2 crawlies from a farm in Sembawang. We spent almost 3 hours in Botanical garden and cant find a pupa or caterpillar! So resorted to buying. It cost $3, comes in the plastic container, the leaves to feed it and a simple instructions. We wanted the gals to see the process from caterpillar to butterfly other than reading 'The Hungry Caterpillar'.

I'm so happy....

This was what XC said when she saw me arranging the presents for the photo shoot. Thank you to all of you for the presents. BB Yun was equally excited and happy upon seeing all of them. They were rather impatient while waiting for me to arrange and take pics. (must take and thank all mah).

As for the other pics, it was XC actual bday. We went out and had dinner then bought a small slice of cake for celebratiion. She choose mango mousse. Then after that we totally forgot abt the cake and walked ard a little more. When we opened the box when we reached home, the cake had 'collasped' as u can see in the pics. haha.. U can imagine how shocked XC was. But she didnt mind and both gals happily dug into the yellow mash. :)

Xiao Ci's 6th Birthday Party

Finally have a chance to post the party pics. The past few weeks were really busy over the head and super tired.
The party was smooth and i think every1 had a good time especially the adults. Cos the kids were all engrossed in the magic show. Except for 1 kid, that is my BB Yun Er. She was grouchy cos got no afternoon nap. Wanted me to carry her almost thruout the whole thing. My arms was really sore the next day.
I must thank all for coming and my aunt for letting us use the place. Also not forgetting the funny magician who helped me manage the kids and the face painter who did the beautiful drawings.
PS. For those who wants to do something similar at the pizza shop, i can help u ask my aunt. :)
