Bug! Bug! Bug!

Papa caught a bug and used a transparent container to hold it. BB Yun Er was bery curious and fascinated at the same time. She kept looking at it and shows no fear. Perhaps next time she will be collecting creepy crawlies and bringing stray animals home?!!! That would definitely make her jie jie Xiao Ci scream her lungs out!

Something Different

I love these when i first saw it in the Pupsik's blog. I would discuss with Xiao Ci and see whether she wants it in her new room when we get a new place. Oh yes, we are thinking of shifting to AMK which is nearer to my in laws place. This is so that I dun have to panic whenever my husband needs to be away and more convenient when she goes P1 next year.

Chinese Class

Xiao Ci has started her chinese lesson at Tien Hsia Language School before CNY. To date, she has attended 4 lessons. To me, she seems to cope well in terms of writing chinese characters which was quite a surprise. I feel that chinese characters are much difficult to write as compare to the alphabets. Maybe she has my genes in the area of chinese. (I got A2 for chinese for 'o' level and actually wanted to be a mother tongue teacher!)
This is the ang bao she drew for us in class for CNY. Right below is the quan jia fu of the Low Family.

Artist In The Making?

So far Xiao Ci has went on to the so called 3rd module of her drawing lesson. She enjoys the lessons and always look forward to Sundays. She has never given excuses that she does not want to attend or she is tired. I'm happy that we have managed to satisfy her needs in creativity. Up to last year after BB Yun Er is born, we did not have much time to get her to draw or do craft works.
Spoke to her art teacher and he is also happy with Xiao Ci's progress. I also found out that drawing is not only important in the skills but also being able to imagine and to visualise what you want to draw. To me, a not very arty person, is a bit chim. hahahaha....
These 2 are her most recent master pieces. For the 2nd pc, she told to draw only herself but she went on to include her little mei mei. So sweet...

What A Cake.

We went to my grandma house for the Yuan Xiao lunch and it happen to be my cousin's birthday. My aunt being the creative person in the house, baked him a cake. She has been the one so far for these few years, the official baker for the family.
Everytime she takes out the cake, even the adults will go ... 'Wah.....'
