Boxing Day

Xiao Ci woke up early on Xmas day. She was excited about opening her presents. More excited than drinking her milk! BB Yun Er was not sure what was happening so jie jiehas the honour to open mei mei's. After that both had a great time playing.

Xmas Party!

We went to papa's colleague party on Xmas eve. I like the house, it has high ceilings! Made the house look spacious. Oops! sorry i side track. It was a smalll party with food and gift exchange. Most importantly, my 2 gals enjoyed themselves.

Role Model

BB Yun Er always follows what the jie jie does. So I'm glad that jie jie always show good example. Fr eg, she was willing to put on this mask after jie jie puts it on. Sometimes i say its Monkey See, Monkey do. haha

Twins Wannabe

Used to think why twins has to wear the same clothes. I think its a sense of belonging. Xiao Ci wanted her mei mei to wear this flower tee with her. It was less then 10 dollar for 1 and comfy for Singapore's weather.

Holiday 2008

The Low family went for our holiday trip from the 16th to 18th. It was BB Yun Er's first trip abroad and Xiao ci as usual was very excited. She even sleep early so that she will be energised the next day.
We always drive up in our trusthworthy 'Barkie' (Xiao Ci names the car) and the trip was abt 2 and a half hr. Thruout the journey BB slept a little and was cranky for a while but no prblem as I packed a whole bag of food stuff. We managed to stop for coffee break and Papa to visit the gents. As it was weekdays, there was no traffic jam when we reached Malacca.
The only upsetting bit was that the hotel room smelt of cigarette smoke. We had to buy air refreshner! The days were spent shopping, eating and lazing in the hotel room.

The 2 Super Cute Sisters

Look! 2 Super Pink Kissing Sisters. Ohhh... so sweet....
Then BB Yun er pushed Xiao Ci in the dolly's stroller.

New Haircut

This is BB Yun Er! in her new hair cut. My father in law brought her down to get it done. She was quite ok except that she doesnt want the cloth to be draped over her. Then burst out crying when the man switched on the shaver.
Xiao Ci kept saying "Eh... she look like boy!" 'sob, sob'
Nver mind, i shall keep massaging her head to try to encourage hair grow and buy more hair clips to style her hair.

Double Decker Bus

Xiao Ci was very happy when she saw that we are getting up a double decker bus. She went up the stairs and wanted to sit right infront. Then she took a pic while on the bus.
I think children nowadays are very lucky. To us bus ride in the past were very common, cos taxi rides were expensive, MRT only exist when we were older and parents do not own a car. But this generation, has almost everything. Meals in restaurants, getting around in taxis, MRT or cars, brand new clothes or things.
My aunt was telling me that no presents as and when for kids except for birthdays and Xmas. I totally agree with her. If not they would take it for granted and not treasure it. I would also want to expose Xiao Ci and Yun Er (when she gets older) to the real world that we should treasure what we have and not waste money or food.

The Tooth Fairy

We went to watch the play yesterday with my gal's school. It was at the DBS Art Centre. Sounded far but not, took the MRT to Chinatown then took a bus and a short walk. Suddenly realised that it has been quite a while since I took Xiao Ci out alone with her sis.
The play was about 1 hr and 45 min. It was entertaining and educational. Xiao Ci enjoyed it, said that she will go back and tell papa and mei mei about the tooth fairy.
However, she was a little concerned about the bad guy, McCavity appearing in front of her. Tried to explain to her that both McCavity and Tooth fairy are not real. She nodded her head but then said... "No! I believe there is tooth fairy because she is pretty!" Win already lor! To her only pretty things will appear.

Come See Me Dance!

Sat was Xiao Ci's year end concert. It was held at RELC and we were there to support her. It was her 2nd time dancing on stage since she got into the school. As compared to last year, she has more confidence and really enjoys the process of practising, rehearsing, and getting ready for the BIG DAY. I must say that my gal has grown up and in a year time she will be P1 and soon taking her PSLE, O' Levels, uni exams ...
Ok ok I think I'm getting too far from now but it seems that she's just born yesterday.

Hibernating Mood

Haven been updating the blog cos this mama is tired. Tired from looking after the cheeky toodler. And now she has been refusing to take her nap in her cot. Luckily nite time was fine. So now she naps on my bed and cant ignore her when she wakes up. (hahaha)
