I can hold a fork

This is BB Yun Er 1st attempt to feed herself. Forgot what i was feeding her. I placed it on the fork and she shoved it into her mouth.

Lion and The Mouse

Yesterday was Xiao Ci's speech & drama open class. It was like an open house where the children will show us what they do during their lessons and an end product ie. a mini play presentation, Lion and The Mouse. As u can see in the pic, she was one of the mouse.

Mid Autumn Festival Party

I know it has been almost 2 weeks after the festival but I thought just t share the pics with everyone. Moreover, it was bb Yun Er's 1st Mid Autumn Festival after she started walking.

Happy School!

This is my elder gal in her school U and in the school compound. Initially for the 1st half of the year when she was enrolled, she would tear whenever we drop her off. We were quite worried as we thought of her screaming or sobbing non stop. However, the teachers would always assure us that she is fine and stops crying in a few minutes. Now into the 2nd year in the school, she is well adjusted and enjoys every bit of her pre-school life. Hopefully when she goes for P1 in 2010, things would also turn out fine.

Chu...Chu...Hooray For Thomas The Train

Thomas the Train is one of the gal's favourite on Playhouse Disney channel. Despite the fact that the narrator sounded monotonous, the gals simply sway to the music when it comes on. So when they saw this ride at Vivocity, they ran for it.

Ermm... Where should I go?

This kungfu panda bag belongs to Xiao Ci but seems that Yun Er loves it more. One afternoon, she drags it out and carried it. Oh no! Does that signals that she has 'huei kar' (means flower leg in Teochew) when she grows up???

Pretty Princess

Actually the 1st person to address my gal as a princess was my gynae. That was the time when revealed to us the sex of the bb.
"Um, Jessy I think we are expecting a princess here..."
So from there on, she is addressed as Princess Xiao Ci and us the Royal family. ha..ha...
This was taken in January at one of my best pal's wedding dinner. Check out the little crown hairband. It was EX! But looking at how she looked, it was worthwhile.

My Good Helper

My gal has always been asking when can she help me in this and that. After reading an article in Young Parents' mag, I decided to give it a try. So she has helped me in stirring a small pot of minestrone soup. Today, she wants to help again. so I got her to peel and wash the veg. Hopefully later she would want to drink her 'fruit of labour'; Vegetable and Carrot soup.

Henderson Wave, Here We Come!

We finally made our first trip to the park after reading good reviews on Li Nah's blog and from the media. We set off from home around 8 and had breakfast at a coffee shop at Bkt Purmei before going up Mt Faber. Must definitely go back to Bkt Purmei cos saw ppl eating yummy lor mee and of course that was a queue for it as compared to other stalls. Singaporereans' mentality, queue up means good food. Ok ok back to the main topic...
Parking wasnt quite convenient at Mt Faber. We parked at the coaches' lot (oops!) and walked to Henderson Waves. It took us abt 5 mins to Henderson waves, 15 min to cross it to Telok Blangah Hills. Weather was fine. Bb was in pram and Xiao Ci was standing behind it. So Papa didn't have to carry the gals. We went the other way (past a church) when we were back at Mt Faber which I wouldn't recommend as it was a longer way and not much scenery. It was much curvy and uphill. We were nearly out of breath except for BB Yun Er. After all the walking, we went to Vivo City for lunch.
